Bio
Tocha is a Peruvian-born musician whose passion for music ignited at the tender age of six, dreaming of becoming an orchestra conductor. He began his musical journey by learning to play the flute and panpipes, and as he grew, he expanded his interests to include theatre, poetry, and architecture. During this time, he taught himself guitar and started composing his own music and writing poetry.
Balancing his love for music with his studies, Tocha pursued a degree in architecture. However, the 2008 financial crisis prompted him to shift his focus entirely to music. Since then, he has established a successful career, performing an average of 200 gigs annually across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East, including cities like London, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, as well as countries such as Germany, Poland, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and Qatar.
Tocha's versatility spans various styles and rhythms, from modern Western music to Latin, Afro, and tropical genres. His bilingual abilities enable him to write and perform songs in both English and his native Spanish. He plays, writes, sings, produces, and performs his own compositions, showcasing his multifaceted talent.
